Description: This exciting video is narrated by Casey Affleck and uses artwork by "Bizarro" comic creator Dan Piraro to tell the story of three rescued animal "ambassadors": Tic Tac the chicken, Queenie the cow, and Winnie the pig. Their stories will help your students appreciate animals as living, feeling beings with their own love of life while strengthening their natural love of animals. Farm Sanctuary also provides a companion teacher's guide with different versions for elementary, middle, and high school educators. Suggested Uses: Use the video and accompanying curriculum with your students. You will also want to order free classroom quantities of the comic book "A Chicken's Life," and stickers from TeachKind to give to your students. Reinforce the information by having them color the pig, cow, fish, lobster, chicken, and turkey pages from the "We're All Animals" coloring book that can be downloaded, printed, and reproduced for your students. |
