Introduction

Holidays are a great time to spend time with loved ones-both human and nonhuman-but during the excitement of the season, many forget that the holiday spirit doesn't reach animals in shelters. lonely dogs howling It is important to teach students to think beyond their circumstances and to relate to those who are less fortunate. Animals in shelters have no voices. During the holidays, we cannot hear lonely dogs howling or bored cats pacing in their cages behind shelter doors, but we know that they are there and that they need our voices to speak for them. You can be an angel for animals by making sure that shelter animals have a voice-yours!
