Blanket and Toy Drives for Shelter Animals
Bring the joy of the holidays to lonely animals in shelters. You can cheer aching hearts
while teaching your students a valuable lesson in kindness by arranging a blanket and toy drive for shelter animals at your school. Contact your local shelters first, find out if they are willing to receive the donations, and then arrange to drop off the donations with your class. If you have time, stay awhile. You can walk the dogs or just visit the animals to bring them much-needed comfort and affection.
