Description: Jenna Morasca, winner of CBS' popular show Survivor: The Amazon and University of Pittsburgh zoology major who conscientiously objected to animal dissections in a biology course, teamed up with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to create this poster, which promotes alternatives to the use of animals in science courses.

Although Morasca's grades suffered as a result of refusing to dissect, she says, "Morally, it was worth it to me. Life is more important." By placing this poster in your school or library, alternatives will be better accepted, and students who wish to learn in a nonviolent manner will not have to harm their academic standing to do it.

Suggested Uses: Please hang this poster in your classroom or library to remind students and educators that a variety of nonviolent, high-tech, and superior alternatives to dissection exist and should be utilized.
