Description: This resource lists books that

including their behaviors, habitats, and family lives, and
also contains books that explore the lives of animals who
are held captive in circuses or “entertainment” venues. The books are organized by the age group—preschool
children, children aged 4 to 7, or children aged 9 to 12—for
which they are appropriate.
